Mercedes Benz C Class for sale

The Mercedes-Benz C-Class is a more compact executive car and was manufactured and introduced in 1993. It was given the nickname of Baby Benz because it was the smallest vehicle that was built till the A-Class was introduced.

The smaller C-Class was built in Germany and as well in Brazil and England. At the time it was built it was the only Mercedes having multi-valve engines. Some of the C-Class models are the Mercedes-Benz C63AMG, Mercedes-Benz C55AMG, Mercedes-Benz C43, and the Mercedes-Benz C36.

The high end model of its specific class is the Mercedes-Benz C280, which has a straight 6 engine which has four valves per cylinder. Later it was replaced by the V6 and had three valves instead of four as well as twin sparkplugs.

The four-cylinder Mercedes-Benz C230 was replaced by the Mercedes-Benz C240 and later the straight 6 C280 was replaced by the V6 C280. The changes were made to help to reduce emissions and to get better gas mileage while still not giving up the power of the engine.

When the C-class models were first introduced they had a standard airbag, ABS and side impact protection built in. The Mercedes-Benz C36AMG and other models with automatic transmission had ASR as a standard feature.
